High Reliability. For over 30 years, in all types of applications, In-Thread® Self-Locking Studs have proven their reliability. The patented design creates locking action that takes effect for the full 360° around the stud.

Varying Degrees of Interference. For hard, less malleable materials such as cast iron, a 3% interference is recommended. For soft materials such as aluminum, 5% or 8% may be necessary.

Locked At Any Temperature. From sub-zero to ultra-hot, In-Thread® Stud holding power is limited only by the physical characteristics of the metal used. The stud will stay there until you want to remove it.

Hold Securely. The mating of In-Thread Studs with a standard internal thread exhibits great resistance to backing out under extreme vibration, impact and shock stresses.

Use Standard Driving Tools. There is no need for any special tools or equipment to insert In-Thread® Studs. The tools you are presently using will set them securely.
